HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS

DAILY WELLNESS PRACTICES

Each day of the Challenge you will receive an email intended to kick start your day with greater intentionality, mindfulness and positivity. 

The email will provide you with a link to access a daily wellness practice such as meditation, yoga, breathwork, tapping, sound healing and others to help you start your day by:

  • regulating your nervous system and emotions;
  • attuning your mind to your body;
  • destressing and calming your mind;
  • developing focus and greater self control;
  • developing resilience; 
  • getting used to being outside your comfort zone 

 

You will have access to 48 wellness practices during the course of the Challenge.

Our goal is that you become accustomed to starting each day with 10-20 minutes of wellness.  Further, by offering you a range of wellness practices to experiment with we hope to help you idenify what practice resonates most with you so that you begin to integrate it into your life and begin a lifelong wellness practice. 

DAILY MENTAL HEALTH HABITS, TOOLS AND EXERCISES

So, in taking on the Challenge we will be encouraging you to join our PURE WATER FOR EVERYONE fundraising team.

This is of course completely optional but we believe that by creating your own fundraiser as part of our team you will not only experience the full power of giving but create for yourself the motivation and a personal support network to cheer you on and hold you accountable to complete the Challenge.  

We believe that clean water is a fundamental right that should be available to everyone and that is why we are supporting the non-profit charity:water to build sustainable clean water projects in developing countries and provide safe and clean water to the 771 million people who currently lack access to this basic human right.

The Challenge starts September 25th 2023.

Our Challenge is focused on helping you to experience and try a variety of wellness practices that are known for their capacity to help you develop mindfulness whilst learning to regulate your nervous system and emotions.  Our goal is to help you experiment with a range of modalities and help you identify the practices that resonate with you and you would like to use for life. 

You will have opportunities to experience yoga, meditation, breathwork, tapping, sound healing, hypnotherapy and others.

In total there will be 46 wellness practices for you to try over the 30 days of the Challenge.

Not exactly.  This Challenge is all about you and you making a personal commitment to making mental wellness how you live your life.  It is about helping you to select the habits you personally would like to develop and which you believe will help you reach your mental wellness potential and excel in each of the 15 dimensions of a Happy Mind.

That being said we will introduce you to science-backed tools, exercises, habits and behaviors that we believe will help you excel in each dimension of your Happy Mind. 

You will be encouraged to experiement with them with the goal that they will provide you with the starting point for creating your own habits and practices and integrating them into your life.

To track your progress, you will be supplied upon registration with the Happy Minds Challenge calendar, where you should mark of each day you successfully complete the daily wellness practice and mental health tools.  This has been designed to help you keep accountable and motivated by helping you to visually see your progress.

If you take up one of our paid for packages you will also be supplied with the Wellness Life Journal to track your progress each day.

We leave it to you to decide how you would like to undertake the Challenge.  So, you can choose to undertake the Challenge by yourself, with family, with your partner, with friends and even with other members of the Happy Minds Challenger community.

In fact, we would love you to encourage your family and friends to join you in registering and taking up the Challenge as we are firm believers in the power of working towards our wellngess goals with those closest to us. 

You can also look to create your own Challenge Team and invite your friends, family members and work colleagues to join you in doing the Challenge as part of your team.

We highly recommend you do the Challenge with a partner or alternatively find yourself an accountability partner.

Knowing you will have to report your progess to someone else will help to keep you committed to completing the Challenge.  It will also help to keep you motivated knowing you have someone to share and celebrate your progress.

Challenge teams are a group of up to 5 Challengers including the team leader.  To be part of a Challenge team you will need to take up one of our paid Challenge packages.

Teams are a fun way to find motivation and inspiration to help you successfully complete the Challenge.  They are a great way to reconnect with family, friends and work colleagues and can also be a great way to meet and connect with new people.

The Happy Minds Challenge will officially end October 24th 2023

If you have purchased one of our Challenge packages you will at this time receive your Challenge Certificate of Completion.

No you don’t have to create a fundraiser to take on the Challenge but we think it is a fun and rewarding way to keep yourself accountable.  Not only will you be getting the mental health benefits of giving you will also be creating a support network to cheer you and hold you accountable.

If a fundraiser doesn’t sound like you, you can of course simply donate with any value helping charity:water to develop new water projects.

If there is no way for you to support our Pure Water for Everyone campaign this is also okay as we are just happy to have you part of the Challenge.
